An affiliate is someone who recommends your course on Coachy to their target audience and receives a commission if the referral is successful. You can learn more about this in the article Own Affiliate Program.
An autoresponder can send automated emails for you when a certain event occurs. This event can be, for example, the purchase of a course, which then starts a corresponding follow-up email sequence. Coachy can pass appropriate "tags" to selected autoresponders for this purpose when certain events occur. A list of the autoresponders supported by Coachy can be found here.
Conversion means something like "conversion" and expresses what percentage of visitors to a landing page did what you want them to do - e.g. sign up for a freebie in the newsletter or buy your course.
Example: 100 people visit the page where you promote your course. 5 people buy - so your conversion is 5%. Common is also the term conversion rate.
Digistore24 offers you the possibility to sell digital products and can be linked directly to Coachy as an external payment service provider. Digistore24 then takes care of the payment processing and the complete accounting - so you have nothing more to do with accounting. You can find more information about Digistore24 here.
In simple terms, a domain is the web address under which a website is accessed. If you create a member area with us, you will receive a web address (https://deinwunschname.coachy.net) from us, under which your member area can then be accessed. If you wish, you can also link your own domain to your member area. You can find more information about this topic here.
With Coachy and Digistore24/CopeCart you have the possibility to set up funnels. After successful purchase of your course, your customer will optionally be shown another offer (upsell). If he rejects this, you can show him an alternative, cheaper offer (downsell).
Here you can learn more about this and how to create downsells in Digistore24.
Freebie is a free offer from you to make interested parties aware of your work. A freebie is therefore usually a digital product (course, eBook, PDF), but does not have to be (consultation, access to a community, questionnaire with evaluation).
Your contacts receive the freebie in return for providing their email address. Thus you collect contacts, which you can convince in the follow-up by E-Mail marketing further of your offers and your knowledge.
Funnel stands for sales funnel. A funnel tapers downwards and symbolizes the typical sales process: many customers enter the sales funnel - e.g. through a freebie - but fewer and fewer people take advantage of the paid offers that you subsequently offer them.
Hoster is the provider where you manage your domain. You will need access to it if you want to connect your Coachy members area to something like your own domain.
Coachy offers integrations to external tools, autoresponders and payment providers like Digistore24 and CopeCart. In addition, you can connect numerous other apps and services to Coachy via Zapier. Integrations help you automate your processes. For more information on integrations, click here.
The "free access" is one of several possible access types in Coachy. As the name suggests, you can give someone free access to your course or digital product. Here's how it works: When you create a free access to a product in the accesses, Coachy automatically creates a form for you, which asks for the email address and other data. You can then embed this form on a landing page or your website. If someone then signs up in this form, this contact will automatically be created as a member in your members area and will get access to the product in which you created the free access. You can find more information about the "free access" here.
A landing page is first of all a normal page to which your visitor is directed. Depending on the goal of your landing page, it fulfills different purposes, but in any case serves to pick up the content of the page visitor. Of course, ideally you want to get their contact details - e.g. by signing up for your newsletter, a freebie or a purchase.
On a landing page, the focus should be on a specific offer that is presented without distractions. Landing pages are meant to "entice" the user to take action. They are already possible with Coachy from the Premium package, from the Deluxe package it becomes even more extensive through the Landingpage Builder 2.0.

A launch is the initial sale of one of your offerings based on planned preparation, product creation and marketing.
A lead refers to a new contact that has been successfully acquired. Example: a prospect signs up to your email list.
Tags are virtual labels that a member of your courses gets attached as a contact in your email program. This has the advantage that you can segment your target groups in your autoresponder without having to create individual lists. With tags, exciting automations are also possible in advanced email marketing.
You can learn more about this in the article "Email Marketing".
An upsell is an offer of another product or an upgrade that is additionally offered immediately after the purchase of the initial product. Upsells are possible at Coachy in connection with Digistore24 and Copecart.
Zapier is an external tool that offers an interface to numerous apps and services. Starting with the Deluxe package, you also get a connection to Zapier in Coachy. This allows you to link services for which Coachy does not offer a direct integration, with Zapier acting as an "intermediary" between the various services.
With the function "timing control" you have the possibility to activate your course content with a time delay. The activation of the individual contents can then take place exactly at the times defined by you for a member - fixed date entries can be used, i.e. also a certain number of days after activation of the course for a member. You can find more information about this topic here.
