Own SMTP server

From Coachy-Deluxe you have in the Settings of your member area under Connections the possibility to connect your own mail server. With this you can set the sender address and the name of the sender independently.
The e-mails sent by Coachy so far (for example when sending access data) will then be sent via your server.
Should your server be down, the mails will be sent automatically from our server as a backup.
When you make the settings, our system will automatically test if your server is available at that time. Therefore, you will receive a confirmation email immediately after the setup if everything has worked.
You can find the host, port and encryption info from your mail server hoster.
User name and password are the login details to your mail server email mailbox.
You can freely choose the sender mail and the sender name. We recommend to use one of your server, especially for the sender mail, so that the delivery rate remains high.
