Make

Make offers you interfaces to numerous apps and services. This also allows you to link services for which Coachy does not offer direct integration.

Make.com is an EU-based alternative to Zapier.

The integration of Make works perfectly with our automations.

  • Use cases (examples)

Make opens up a wide range of possibilities for you as a Coachy customer:

    • PayPal and Stripe - sell your online courses or other digital products via PayPal or Stripe and automatically unlock access to Coachy after payment.
    • Connect your store system, e.g. Shopify or WooCommerce with Coachy and unlock an access to your members area after selling a physical product. Good example: selling nutritional supplements. After shipping, customers can watch your video course with more tips about your product.
    • Connect an autoresponder or other email system that we haven't integrated directly with Coachy.
    • Connect a CRM system and manage your customers there. As soon as someone gets Coachy access, you can use make to automatically create a new contact in your CRM system and continue to maintain it there.
  • Connecting Coachy and Make

You can set up the connection to Make via the settings in your member area via the Connections tab. Click on Configure Make and an access link and a Make-Key will appear.

Now click on the access link and log in to Make, if necessary. Then click on Install and add Coachy as an app to your Make organisation.

Next, check whether Coachy is now successfully listed via Installed Apps in your organisation.

If so, you can now use Coachy in your scenarios.

A scenario is an automation in Make that allows one or more tools to communicate with each other. A scenario consists of a trigger and an action  - so an event that triggers the scenario (for example creating an access in Coachy) and an action (for example transferring the data to your CRM system) that is executed as soon as the trigger is activated. Everything runs automatically – you only need to set up the scenario initially.

    Coachy as a trigger

Type ‘Coachy’ into the search box in the first step of the scenario. The Coachy logo will appear with the note Invited. This means that you have been invited by Coachy to use it in Make. Click on the logo and you can now use Coachy as a trigger and starting element for a scenario in Make.

A trigger event can only be Access Created, so New Access. This means that the scenario starts as soon as a new access has been created in Coachy. For example, a member has purchased a Digistore24 product from you and has been created in the member area.

As soon as you create a scenario with Coachy as the trigger for the first time, you must create a webhook (Coachy will later send the information that a new access has been created to this webhook URL) and establish the connection to your member area.

Webhook: Give the webhook a meaningful name so that you know later which account for which product in your member area triggers this scenario. If you want the trigger to fire for all products, leave the field blank. If you want the trigger to fire for a specific product, but for all accesses there, leave the field for the access blank.

Connect to your member area: Click on ‘Create a Connection’, name the connection and enter the Make-Key that you can find in your member area via Connections at Configure Make. It is also possible to connect multiple member areas to one Make account.

The trigger is now created and you can complete your automation in further action modules in Make, for example by transferring your members to your CRM system.

    Coachy as an action

You can use Coachy not only as a trigger to start a scenario, but also as an action. The actions Create Access and Remoce Access are available in our Make App.

To do this, add Make as a source in your training settings in the Access tab. This opens up some great possibilities. For example, you can automatically add every buyer of a certain product in your online shop to a course so that they can watch videos there. The trigger for your scenario here is the purchase in the online shop and the action that is performed is the creation of an access in your memberarea.

The ‘Remove Access’ action removes all of the member's access to this training.
